Interesting fact about me: when I was a teen, I was a bit of a wannabe goth. If you’ve read Together Apart, you might have guessed. Corporation – that’s a real place, City Hall was where I used to hang out. And I used to listen to stuff like this all the time. This particular song reminds me of being in France last week, gearing up for an interesting night out. Sounds great with the volume up too!

I was lucky enough to see Nick Mulvey play an an intimate gig last November and boy, this guy has skills. It was just him, his guitar and a stage and he played magnificently. This is one of my favourite tracks of his, BUT, I’m not a fan of the album version. For me, it’s a bit too over produced, so this is the version that I do like. And it’s magnificent!
